Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of traditional Chinese music at this exquisite concert of chamber and orchestral performances.

The first half showcases the unique beauty of plucked instruments in Spring of the Heavenly Mountain and Dynamic Plucking, followed by the soulful strings of Nocturnal Evening and Folk Tune from Sunan. Experience the North American debut of a three-flute arrangement of Under the Grand Green Mountain, and hear the contemporary folk masterpiece Virtuous Tune by Li Bozhen.

The second half celebrates tradition with the lively Celebration Overture and the melodic Beautiful Bambusa Bamboo. Purple Bamboo Tune and Little Cowherd from Bao Yuan-kai’s Chinese Sights and Sounds suite add vibrant color to the evening, before the concert concludes with the haunting guzheng concerto Elegy of the Cloud Dresses.

10 月 12 號的節目，有精緻的小組及室內樂的演出，以及大樂隊的恢宏曲目。

上半埸小組演岀節目包括彰顯彈撥樂器特色的《天山之春》和《動感彈撥》；拉弦組溫潤靈動的《良宵 》和《蘇南小曲》；首次以3 把笛子齊奏的方式在北美州演出的 《大青山》；以及一首深受樂迷傾睞的當代民樂作曲家李博襌先生的絲竹室內樂：《德音》。

下半場合奏的演出節目包括歡慶的《慶典序曲》；弦律優美動人的《美麗的鳳尾竹》。還有選自作曲家鮑元愷的《炎黃風情》套曲中的《紫竹調》和《小放牛》。這兩首懀炙人口的民族曲調，經由鮑元愷先生的重新編曲，創造出了迷人的音樂線條，也更展現了民樂走向更有結構性及多元變化的豊富性，充份展現了紐約中國民族樂團當下的追求 - 努力的與傳承對話，並向未來探索！

音樂會的最後壓軸，是一首箏協奏曲《雲裳訴》，這部作品由作曲家周煜國先生在2002年的創作。《雲裳訴》的曲名取自李白《清平調詞》中“雲想衣裳花想容”的詩句，以白居易的《長恨歌》為素材，描寫了唐玄宗與楊貴妃之間流傳百世的愛情悲劇。《雲裳訴》是中國古箏協奏曲發展歷程中的一部代表性作品，體現了古箏音樂從獨奏到協奏、從單聲旋律到多聲交響的飛躍。樂曲戲劇張力十足，細膩地刻畫了從愛情的美好、戰亂的驚惶到生死離別的痛苦與刻骨思念，極富感染力和敘事性。
